CHEMOTON

The main field of the scientific activity of Professor Gánti, his main life work is the chemoton theory. This includes the exact, quantitative theory of fluid automatons and their application to living systems, the discrimination between living and non-living, the minimum model of life, the theoretical backgrounds of the origin of life and its artificial reproduction. This serves as a base of the most important nanotechnological project of the European Union, the so-called PACE program.

By studying the bases of life, he created the uniform, exact basis of biology, and the foundation of systematic chemistry. By elaborating the cycle stoichiometry, he created the possibility of their quantitative treatment.
